The reasons range between the personal... I have decided for a number of reasons that I will not be playing MO so much since returning from holiday.

The reasons range between the personal to the technological. I have had to deal with something quite difficult (and very saddening) in the last week or so. Work drains me enough (as I am sure it does a lot of you) and having this further burden upon me I find I want to just quietly play by myself in my free time (which is now very little) without having to interact on ventrilo.

As to the technology I have found in the battles that I have participated in that my pc is just not fast enough for me to really play this game on a level playing field. I am also too old, with the slow reactions that go with such infirmity, to play a twitch based game.

For these reasons I have decided I have no option but to quit the guild. Maybe in future I will apply for acceptance again, but in the meantime you may see me around minding my own business.

And I will, of course, continue to post on the MO forums under my other alias there.

What does this mean for you? Well if you aren't in the garrison then completely disregard this post because it means nothing.

However if you are in the garrison then expect to be driven like a field horse. There will be sweat and tears.. all of which will be exchanged for gold, gabore, or the blood of every renegade in Gaul'kor.

There will be no saying "but I'm doing 'x'". You didn't enlist in the garrison to have choices.

It seems taming a horse usually results in the horse being grey if it kicks you while being tamed since the patch.
*Update* Dismounting sometimes makes your horse grey as well I just read in multiple places. Looks like there's going to be a major run on stables.

Beware. Me and about 5 other people learned that the hard way in Vadda just moments ago. It was actually quite epic to see multiple horses die at once and the bank area be suddenly covered with a fine coating of blood. But..I digress.
